PETERCHENS MONDFAHRT (LITTLE PETER’S TRIP TO THE MOON)
100 POEMS FROM 50 YEARS BY PETER SCHUTT
WITH PAINTINGS, SCULPTURES AND OBJEKTS BY HELGA KREUZRITTER

The book brings 100 poems by Peter Schütt, accompanied by works of the renowned artist Helga Kreuzritter; the book takes the reader on a journey of sensual and aesthetic pleasure of poetry and art.

No matter what kind of activity he develops, Peter Schütt is always convincingly engaged and at the same time sensitive and open-minded. This is revealed very clearly in his poems, with which he now celebrates his seventy-fifth birthday in a selection.

Peter Schütt does not believe in "coincidence", so he considers it a "lucky coincidence" that he met the artist Helga Kreuzritter, a freelance internationally active artist with a wide range of topics in her work and a wide range of techniques. He was impressed from the beginning by her artistic work and supported her by essays in books, catalogues and lectures with admirable skill and great empathy. He even chose one of her works, a collage entitled "Peterchen's Mondfahrt" as the title and cover image for this book. And he went on: he had the idea to combine illustrations of Helga Kreuzritter’s works with his poems. That's how a book came into being like no other encounters.
